Tic Tac Slime
Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy explains what information the Tic Tac Slime app (Android and iOS, app ID game.blackred.squares, “the app”) collects, how it is used and what choices you have. The app is developed by alhanyk (“we”, “us”).
1. Information the app collects
- Anonymous account. To play online, the app creates an anonymous account with Google Firebase Authentication. It is a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email address or phone number.
- Player profile. The player name and profile details you choose in the app (such as your character’s gender) are stored with that account, so that your opponents can see your name.
- Online games. To find an opponent and play a match, the app sends your player name, the move time you picked, your rating (calculated from your wins, losses and draws), the power-up tokens you use in the match and your moves. When you invite a friend, the app stores an invite with your player name, rating and move time under a random code, which is part of the invite link, until your friend joins or you cancel. This information is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database.
- Progress. Your statistics (wins, losses and draws against other players and against the computer, and your rating), your drops and the crystals and tokens you collect are kept on your device and copied to your account in Google Firebase Realtime Database. Your settings stay on your device.
- Usage statistics. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to learn how the game is played. It records events such as starting and finishing a game (the location, the kind of opponent, the move time, the result and how long it lasted), sending or opening an invite, and finding items or using tokens, together with information Firebase collects automatically: an app instance identifier, your device model, operating system and language, the app version, your approximate location (country or region, from your IP address) and when and how long you use the app. On Android this can include the advertising ID. These events are not linked to your player name.
- Crash and error reports. If the app crashes or runs into an error, Firebase Crashlytics collects a report: what went wrong and where in the app, your device model, operating system, free memory and storage, the app version, a Crashlytics installation identifier and the game events recorded shortly before.
The app does not collect your contacts, precise location, photos or payment information. When you share an invite link, your device’s own share menu is used, and we do not see who you send it to.
2. Advertising
Some versions of the app show ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers such as the advertising ID, your IP address and information about how you interact with ads, and, where allowed, use them for personalized ads. See how Google uses information in ads. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
3. How we use information
We use this information to run the game: to keep your account, progress and items between sessions, find you an opponent with a similar rating, show your name to your opponent and pass the moves between you. We use usage statistics and crash reports to understand how the game is played and to find and fix problems. We do not sell your information and do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Service providers
Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Google Analytics for Firebase and Crashlytics) stores and processes the information above on our behalf; see Privacy and Security in Firebase. Where ads are shown, they are provided by Google AdMob.
5. Storage, retention and deletion
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Your account, player profile and progress are kept while you use the app. Usage statistics are kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days. Uninstalling the app deletes the information stored on your device. To have your online information deleted, email us at tictaslime@gmail.com with your player name, and we will delete it within 30 days.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information or to object to its processing. To use these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
